Things to do
At the heart of Denbighshire, North Wales lies the picturesque village of Meliden. Located not far from Offa Dyke; one of Britain’s National Trails , which runs from Sedbury in South Wales to Prestatyn through the varied and little-frequented landscapes of the Welsh Marches, Graham Avenue benefits from the beauty of the mountainous Welsh Hills.
Traditional independent shops stand side by side a modern retail park in Prestatyn. You can purchase local Welsh produce, pick up a unique gift or treat yourself to a new dress for that special occasion. The town also welcomes a market every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
Prestatyn also hosts the North Wales Coastal Cycleway, a 34 mile cycle path along the North Wales coast. The Prestatyn to Llandudno section of the route offers extensive views out to sea, along the coast and inland to the Clydian Hills, the Vale of Clwyd and the northern slopes of Snowdonia National Park.
