Coronavirus Customer Update

We are following Government guidelines and, to keep everyone safe, we have closed our sales centres and show homes until further notice. Although you cannot currently visit us in person, we have a core team of staff on hand to answer any questions you may have and to help you on your journey albeit in a new and remote way. In accordance with the current guidance from the Government, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and the Construction Leadership Council, sites can remain open and construction work can continue, providing certain measures are put in place. At Anwyl Homes we take the safety of our homeowners and workforce extremely seriously and are therefore only allowing this activity to resume with these measures in place. In alignment with these measures we will be commencing small scale activity across selected developments commencing Monday 20th April, 2020.

 

Here’s some specific advice based on your current circumstances…

If you’re moving into your new Anwyl home soon…

A dedicated member of the Anwyl team will have been in touch with you to provide an update on your home. Please stay in contact with them for any issues you may have. We will have to amend our usual legal completion process and, sadly, it will not include some of the personal touches you would normally enjoy but this is designed to keep you safe. A dedicated member of the Anwyl team will still take you through the process on the day and, for your own safety, everything will be conducted at a safe distance of at least two metres, in line with social distancing measures.

If you have Exchanged Contract and awaiting NHBC, we are still operating from home as normal and all our solicitors continue to work in the back ground. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate contact us.

If you already live in an Anwyl home:

Unfortunately, any routine maintenance appointments you have arranged with our sub-contractors or technicians are now cancelled for the next three weeks. Our Customer Service team will be in touch to rearrange these appointments as soon as possible. Appointments scheduled for after May 8 are currently still in place, although this position will be reviewed regularly. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but hope you can appreciate this action is essential to comply with the Government’s new guidance and for your own safety and wellbeing.

We will of course still attend to any emergencies within your home, these are defined as:
• A gas leak
• Complete failure of your heating system
• A persistent water leak that cannot be contained
• Complete failure of your electrics
• Flooding caused by blocked drains that threatens to enter your home

If you do experience an emergency in your home, please contact our customer service team in the first instance at customer-care@anwyl.co.uk. This email address will be regularly checked through the day and prioritised accordingly.

If you have reserved a new Anwyl home but not yet exchanged contracts:
