Anwyl to add more choice to Preston property market

HOME buyers in the Preston area will soon have more to choose from with the launch of a third Anwyl Homes development. Already selling at Bluebell Meadow in Fulwood and having just launched Stonebridge Fold in Longridge, the homebuilder is preparing to release the first phase of properties at Lawrence Gardens in Barton “off plan” from October 31. Between them, the three locations will provide almost 200 new homes including a mix of private sale and affordable housing options. Matthew Gould, head of sales for Buckshaw Village based Anwyl Homes Lancashire, said: “We’ve been receiving enquiries about our Barton development, Lawrence Gardens, since we submitted plans for the site. Work was delayed by the Coronavirus lockdown but due to the level of demand we’ve decided to launch off plan rather than wait until the show homes are available to view here. We would encourage anyone looking for a new home in the area who hasn’t already done so to register their interest now. “We have a wealth of resources to help buyers appreciate the layouts of our thoughtfully designed homes, including video tours available via our YouTube channel. Plus, those who can’t wait for the show homes to open in Barton can make an appointment to view properties at Bluebell Meadows or Stonebridge Fold.” Lawrence Gardens will offer 50 private sale properties in a choice of four-bedroom designs, with floor plans and the site plan available to view via the Anwyl website.  Prices for the homes will be announced when they are released for sale from October 31. Fully furnished show homes at the development, on Garstang Road, are due to open next spring, with the first homes expected to be ready for occupation soon after. The whole site is scheduled for completion in 2023. The new Broughton bypass means access to the M6 and M55 motorways is only minutes away, while the village of Barton itself has a semi-rural feel and is only a short drive from the market town of Garstang. Alongside building new homes at Lawrence Gardens, Anwyl will make a number of financial contributions that will be of direct benefit to the local community, including more than £750,000 that will be used towards primary and secondary education, highways improvements, local footpath improvements and travel plan provision.  New junction works to improve safety and the speed of traffic approaching along Garstang Road will also be funded. The sales centre at Lawrence Gardens will be open by appointment only from October 31.
