The double dose of Government assistance at Bluebell Meadows in Fulwood could be a lifeline to buyers, potentially saving them thousands of pounds. The Stamp Duty holiday applies to homes priced up to £500,000 providing the purchase is complete before April 1st, 2021. It can be used on property purchases up to £600,000, providing the home is physically built by the end of February and that the purchase is legally complete by the end of March. “And, of course, where people are making a second step into one of our homes that frees up a property further down the chain to help keep the first time buyer market moving too,” Matthew added. From April 1 next year, Help to Buy will be restricted to first time buyers only and with regional price caps.
