Cheshire team says it's the 'Winning'ton Place

With new homes at Winnington Place already selling into spring next year, homebuyers can see they’re onto a winner with this development. With new homes at Winnington Place already selling into spring next year, homebuyers can clearly see they’re onto a winner with the beautiful Cheshire development. Homes advisors Marie Browning and Kelly Boyd, plus site manager Phil Jump and his team, have been kept busy since the launch of the Anwyl Homes collection near Northwich, particularly so after three stunning show homes were unveiled. To date 22 homes have been sold at the popular development.
“People can see that we’re offering something a little bit different to other housebuilders in terms of the house styles, the design and the high specification,” says Marie. “Winnington Place feels special, it feels prestigious as you drive in. “The development is already coming together with the show homes, and it looks impressive because we feature lots of different elevations, it’s not uniform. As we say, they are thoughtful homes because so much thought and care has gone into every aspect of creating them.”
Marie certainly knows what she’s talking about – she’s been selling homes for 20 years, the last three with Anwyl. Mum-of-one Marie, loves her job and having an impact on one of the most important periods in many people’s lives.
“There’s a real sense of achievement because you are helping people make the biggest purchase of their lives and being part of that journey is so nice,” she says. “There’s no better feeling than on completion when you hand over the keys and they are absolutely thrilled – and that feeling never fades.” Having worked for larger PLC companies previously, Marie was delighted to join Anwyl Homes: “I feel like I’m part of a team now. I wanted to work for a family firm and it feels so different. The Anwyl name is ‘over the door’ as it were and you notice the level of commitment, the attention to detail. It matters to them and that translates to every element, from building each home to the customer care we give people from the sale until they move in and beyond. “I live locally only 15 minutes’ drive from Winnington Place, and that helps I think because I know the area well. There’s a nice village feel and a lovely community; with all the amenities you need close by. Northwich is just down the road and there’s good access to motorways. “It’s interesting that most of our customers are local because once people live here or move here, they tend to stay – and, for any area, that says it all!”
Kelly Boyd, from Prescot, Knowsley, works alongside Marie.
“I come from a sales background and understand the importance of good customer care,” Kelly added. “I’ve worked in the new homes industry for eight years and have been with Anwyl for four years, so I know the product well and can use my experience with the company to help match customers with the home that best suits their need.”
Phil Jump, 32, has returned to his site manager role at the development after becoming a dad – his wife Amy gave birth to their daughter Lilia earlier this year– and understands more than ever the importance of family life and a good home in which to live it. He has been in the housebuilding trade since leaving school, starting as an apprentice joiner, before qualifying and moving up the career ladder to assistant site manager and then site manager with a number of leading companies. He joined Anwyl in November last year.
Phil, from Chadderton in Manchester, says: “It’s my job to make sure the houses are built on time and to the standard Anwyl is renowned for. “I’m only ever as good as the team working for me although, interestingly as we’re working for a family firm, they become like family when you’re working together on site every day!”
The setting of the development, the design of the homes, including feature brickwork and family-friendly interiors designed with how people really live, help sets Winnington Place apart, says Phil, who adds: “I’d be happy to live here.” Winnington Place is a collection of three and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes with properties currently available from £239,995. Located between Northwich and Hartford, Winnington is close to a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes, and has an excellent choice of schools. With the outdoors increasingly important, there are plenty of parks, woodlands and scenic walks to enjoy nearby.
