There is a popular farmers market held the first Saturday of every month, that is known to sell out by lunch time, and markets held regularly in the town centre.

Udall Grange is located close by to an abundance of local attractions including a canal, marina, golf-course, Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest. It is also not far from the larger attractions including Alton Towers and for the sports fans, Stoke City Football Club.

Udall Grange is located conveniently close to several local schools, and offers excellent transport links. The M6 is only a short distance away, with the A34 and A51 also being close by. The local bus service offers an extensive range of routes that head north to Tittensor, Trentham, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent, and Stafford to the south. Train services are also easily accessible as Stone has its own train station positioned on the West Coast Main Line, heading south to London Euston via Stafford and the Trent Valley line, and north to Crewe via Stoke-on-Trent.
