Having lived in an old Victorian three storey property for many years, which also had a huge garden and out-houses, we were keen to downsize. As both Ian and I are retired, we wanted to buy a new build property that would be easy for us to manage and much more cost effective compared to our old house. We reserved just as build was getting underway and are thrilled to have finally moved in. There is a lot still to do but we are slowly settling in.
