Your Local Area
Despite being surrounded by plentiful urban amenities, Eagles Green lives up to its name with walking access to four parks and green spaces in the area. Airlift Hill, located on the development, has a pond attached and is a stone’s throw away from your front door. Children can play at the Woodville Place Playground, while larger parks within a 20-minute walk include the Big Green, Whittle Wood, and Whittle Hall Park.
Our new houses for sale in Warrington are close to a number of gyms, the closest being the Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub a 25-minute walk away from Eagles Green. The gym has over 120 fitness stations, as well as two swimming pools, tennis courts, a sports hall and even an integrated library. For pre-existing members, Warrington also benefits from a PureGym and a David Lloyd, both within a 7-minute drive of home.
Sprawled between the Manchester Ship Canal and the River Mersey, Warrington is the perfect location for lovers of locks and riverside walks. A few famous points of interest in the town include the Winwick Quay Dry Dock and the Winwick, Hulme, Bewsey and Dallam Hill locks along the canal. The waterways are lined with walkways through the town, making it easy for dog walkers, joggers and families to explore away from the road.
The headlining feature of our new homes at Eagles Green is their proximity to the Gulliver’s World theme park, only a 35-minute walk away from the development. An immensely popular theme park in the North West, Gulliver’s World has 21 rides designed for children to enjoy, and is open year-round. Buy family annual passports or save a trip for a special birthday or an achievement celebration.
That’s not all, however; Eagles Green is a 15-minute drive away from Knowsley Safari Park, which holds the title for the longest safari drive in the UK. From lions to deer, camels and bison, the park is a day trip perfect for lovers of animals (as long as you don’t mind putting your car in their paws!).
For history buffs and Beatles fans, the National Trust owns several sites nearby, including John Lennon and Paul McCartney’s childhood homes in Liverpool. Other interesting day trips are brought to you by Speke Hall, a Tudor house, Durham Massey, a 17th century parkland, and Tatton Park, a deer park south of Manchester. For homebodies, Warrington is hardly short of activities – the Partridge Lakes Fishery is a 70-acre site for fishing enthusiasts, stocking carp, perch, barbel, ide, bream and more.

Our new build homes in Warrington are located right next to the Burtonwood Roundabout onto the M62. The motorway leads straight to Liverpool and Manchester, and puts Eagles Green a 15-minute drive away from the former and a 20-minute drive away from the latter.
Buses leave Warrington for towns such as St Helens and Altrincham, and several services are operated to Liverpool. Burtonwood Road is the development’s link to the bus network, with two stops in either direction (Burtonwood Road and Westbrook Way). These stops run the 292 to Lingley Green and Newton le Willows.
Warrington benefits from a total of five local train stations within the town. The closest two, Sankey for Penketh and Warrington West, share a very similar ETA from Eagles Green. The most notable station, Warrington West, runs several trains per hour to stations such as Liverpool Lime Street, Warrington Central, Manchester Oxford Road and Cleethorpes.

Warrington has several college options for 16-year-olds to choose: aside from the Great Sankey sixth form, the Warrington & Vale Royal College offers Technical courses, T-levels and Apprenticeships, while UTC Warrington focuses on hands-on subjects such as construction, engineering and science, and has its own car park for pupils.
