Alexandra Gardens, Crewe

Coming soon

Alexandra Gardens is a superb residential development in the Cheshire town of Crewe. With its range of well-appointed two, three and four-bedroom homes, the development is ideal for first-time buyers, families and those who are looking to downsize from larger properties.

For over 85 years, Anwyl Homes has earned a reputation for quality and attention to detail, and the homes at Alexandra Gardens are a perfect example. With their light and airy open-plan kitchen/dining areas, attractive bedrooms – some with luxurious en suite facilities – and bespoke wooden features made in our specialist joinery workshop, they are homes to be proud of.

Crewe is renowned for its superb transport links, offering frequent direct rail services to London in just over an hour and a half, Manchester in around 35 minutes and Liverpool in around 40 minutes, with many more destinations also available. The town will be a major hub for the new HS2 network, cutting journey times to London down to just 55 minutes and making new high-speed connections across the country.

Alexandra Gardens is also well placed for drivers, with junction 16 of the M6 being around 10 minutes’ drive away. The nearby town of Stoke-on-Trent can be reached in 25 minutes by car, with Manchester being just under an hour away, and Liverpool just over an hour.

Crewe itself offers plenty of local amenities including good shopping, entertainment, and food and drink options. The area is well served by excellent local schools, including the nearby Springfield School and Monks Coppenhall Academy, both rated ‘Outstanding’ with Brierley Primary and The Dingle Primary are both rated ‘Good’.

Alexandra Gardens is located around a mile to the east of the town centre, making it easy to reach the central area by car or on foot. The centre is home to many familiar brands, with the shops in the Market Centre and Victoria Centre complemented by a range of high street names – from supermarkets to fashion stores – throughout the town. The Great Junction Retail Park is also easily accessible, being just over a mile from Alexandra Gardens.

Crewe hosts an outdoor market on three days each week, and its historic Market Hall is currently undergoing a £3 million renovation programme, with the aim of transforming it into a vibrant hub for the town. This is due to open in 2020, providing a home for high quality traders and independent eateries.

Because the town offers such easy access to nearby towns and cities, Alexandra Gardens residents can also enjoy all the shopping, business and leisure amenities in places such as Stoke-on-Trent, Chester, and the many attractive locations throughout Cheshire.

Entertainment options in Crewe include the Lyceum Theatre with its lively programme of drama, musicals and comedy, the state-of-the-art Odeon cinema, the Crewe Heritage Centre with its extensive collections relating to the town’s history, and numerous pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Alexandra Gardens is also well placed for access to the beautiful Queens Park, with its Victorian clock tower, waterfall and playground.
