Your Local Area

Located on the southern part of the town, our new builds in Nantwich are a stone’s throw away from Cheshire’s glorious greenery. 

Hop in your car and drive for 3 miles to find Wybunbury Moss Nature Reserve, offering several walks to explore around the central peat body, or head over to Brookfield Park closer to the centre of town, with its football pitch and dedicated play area for children. 

Anyone wanting to practice their swing can head over to Wychwood Park Golf Club, located just 10 minutes away by car, while swimmers will be glad to know Nantwich is also home to the last outdoor brine (salt water) pool in the country, open all year-round. 

On a rainy day, Nantwich’s centre has plenty to offer and visit, including Nantwich Museum, all about the local area’s rich history, and St Mary’s Church, an iconic medieval building dating back to 1280. 

And for music lovers, the town hosts a yearly Jazz, Blues & Music Festival, attracting some of the biggest names from around the country and beyond. 

With the A500 on your doorstep and the M6 just 10-minutes away by car, our new build homes in Nantwich are ideal for commuters and explorers alike. 

The M6 gives you quick access to the likes of Manchester and Birmingham, while the A500 will take you directly into Stoke-on-Trent’s centre if required. 

Nantwich Train Station is a 20-minute walk from our development, and offers hourly services to Crewe, Manchester, Cardiff and Swansea. For more destinations, Crewe Station is under 15-minutes away by car, and will connect you directly to London, Liverpool, Chester & Birmingham, among others. 

The closest bus stop (Winterberry Way) can be reached in less than 10-minutes on foot, where you can hop onto the number 39, which runs between both Crewe’s and Nantwich’s bus stations. 

And if you fancy a sunny getaway, Manchester Airport can be reached in around 40 minutes by car up the M6.

With plenty of primary and secondary schools nearby, our new homes in Nantwich are an ideal place for families to settle down in Cheshire. 

For example, Pear Tree Primary School is a mere 2-minute walk from the development, while St Anne’s Catholic Primary School and Stapeley Broad Lane CofE Primary are both within a 3-mile radius. 

In terms of secondary education, Brine Leas Academy is a quick 5-minute drive down the A530, while both Malbank Sixth Form College and Shavington Academy can be found a bit further afield. 

The littles ones also aren’t forgotten in the area, with two nurseries, Red Wellies Childcare and Little Angels Childcare, located less than a mile either side of Weaver Forge.  

As for local higher education, you can find Reaseheath College just north of the town, and the likes of Wrexham University, the University of Staffordshire and the University of Chester are all less than an hour’s drive away.

If you’re looking for a bite to eat out, you’ll find plenty to choose from in the town centre, less than a 30-minute walk from our new builds in Nantwich. 

Fancy a taste of the Mediterranean? You’ll find this at both St Martha Restaurant, which labels itself as a ‘little piece of Greece in Nantwich’, and O Kypreos, serving up some traditional Cypriot dishes, such as stifado and kleftiko.  

For Italian food, Romazzino and Enzo tick this box in great fashion, with the latter focusing on brunch options and pizzas, while Deadwood Smokehouse will fill any meat craving you might have. 

And for something a bit more exotic, 9 Mill Street brings Pan-Asian flavours to Cheshire via a great selection of small plates. 

As for any shopping, Nantwich’s centre is filled with all sorts of independent stores to explore, while nearby Crewe and Stoke-on Trent have a bit more to offer in terms of high-street brands. But if it’s a real bargain you’re after, Cheshire Oaks is less than an hour away by car.
