Your Local Area

The Wirral is famous for its abundance of waterbirds and is home to several RSPB reserves along the waterfront. You can visit Burton Mere Wetlands, Dee Estuary Nature Reserve, Cleaver Heath, Neston Marshes, and RSPB Parkgate, all within a 20-minute drive of home.

Local parks include the Port Sunlight River Park, offering a scenic walk beside the Mersey, and Mayer Park, a popular dog-walking spot just nine minutes’ walk from the development. You’ll also find urban green spaces such as The Dell and the Hillsborough Memorial Garden, both just north of the development.

You can take full advantage of your coastal location by visiting the Meols, Wallasey and West Kirby beaches, all within 25 minutes’ drive of your new build home in Wirral. For sailing enthusiasts, the Royal Mersey Yacht Club and the Tranmere Sailing Club are both located a 10-minute drive away, and you can access a variety of water sports from the Wirral Watersports Centre in West Kirby.

Our new builds in Wirral are ideally located between the Rock Ferry Bypass and the M53, both major routes linking Ellesmere Port and Liverpool. The M53 connects with the M56 just 17 minutes from home, giving you easy access to Warrington in 30 minutes and Manchester in 50 minutes. Central Liverpool is only a 16-minute drive from Lottie Gardens.

Local bus stops are at Quarry Road East and Stanton Road, where you can catch the 73 bus to Heswall Bus Station, the 410 to Clatterbridge Hospital and the 487 to Birkenhead, among other services. Your closest interchange stations are at Heswall and Birkenhead.

The Port Sunlight train station is a 6-minute walk away from our Bebington new homes, located along the Wirral line from Liverpool to Chester. Trains to Liverpool Central run every 10–20 minutes at peak times, while services to Chester operate around 60 times per day.

You can also catch trains into Ellesmere Port for boat trips and leisure. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is located just across the water, a 35-minute drive via the Queensway Tunnel.

Living in Wirral, you’re never far from your local schools. Most schools that encompass Lottie Gardens in their catchment zones are within walking distance of the development, with public transport links and driving access as well.

The closest primary school is Stanton Road, a well-regarded option for pupils aged 2 to 11, just a nine-minute walk from home. Alternatively, children from 5 to 11 can attend the Brackenwood Infant and Junior schools, both a 20-minute walk from home, and Church Drive Primary for 3 to 11 year olds is located 15 minutes away on foot.

Your closest secondary schools are separated into Wirral Grammar School for Girls and Wirral Grammar School for Boys, both located a 4-minute drive or a 17-minute walk from our new build homes in Wirral. Both schools provide extensive extracurricular opportunities, including sports teams and clubs, and the boys’ school offers the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Mixed gender options are available at the Co-op Academy in Bebington and the St John Plessington Catholic Secondary School, both within a 26-minute walk from home. The Co-op Academy partners with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, while St John Plessington offers clubs in sports, music, drama, and choir.

As for higher education, your options are extensive. Wirral Metropolitan has several college campuses within a 15-minute drive in Birkenhead, where pupils can study subjects such as Animal Management, Hairdressing, Counselling and Computing. Specialised engineering courses are available just 10 minutes away at The Engineering College. There are plenty of sit-down restaurants located in Bebington, including the Tudor Rose Tea Rooms and the Amor Cafe and Bistro, both a seven-minute walk from home. For a gastropub experience, The Three Stags is only 11 minutes on foot.

The shop at Claremont Farm is your go-to market for local produce, whether you’re looking for butcher’s meat, cheese, or homegrown vegetables. You can also find a greengrocer a 13-minute walk away at Not Just Fruit, and independent butchers such as Baxters Meats, Edge & Son and Muffs Butchers.
