Lea Grange, St Helens

Coming soon

Development Overview

Lea Grange is a stunning residential development in the Merseyside town of St Helens. Consisting of 82 beautifully appointed homes, the development is the perfect base for growing families, busy professionals, first-time buyers and those looking to downsize.

With a choice of three-bedroom semi-detached or three and four-bedroom detached homes, all Lea Grange’s properties combine characterful good looks and a superior specification with carefully designed interiors built for modern living. Anwyl has been building homes for over 85 years, so all properties benefit from our exemplary attention to detail, including high quality bespoke wooden features made in our own specialist joinery workshop.

The Lea Grange development covers 3.5 hectares to the south of St Helens. Anwyl has created a sensitively landscaped setting for the homes, with attractive open space within the development and plenty of mature trees, particularly along Lowfield Lane.

With the St Helens Linkway running very close to the development, access to the centre of St Helens or the M62 is quick and simple. Travelling is easy for rail users too, with the nearby station at Lea Green offering journey times to Liverpool and Manchester of between 20-30 minutes.

Things to do

The industrial history of St Helens as a centre of coal mining and glass making can still be felt in the area, with the Sutton Manor woodlands – once the site of a colliery just a few minutes’ drive from Lea Grange – and the famous World of Glass museum both celebrating the town’s heritage.

Today, the Sutton Manor site offers acres of beautiful woodland for walkers and picnic lovers to enjoy, and it is also a distinctive visitor attraction thanks to the Dream sculpture created by the Catalan artist, Jaume Plensa. Other open space within easy reach includes Clock Face Country Park, and the large Sherdley Park with its golf course, formal gardens, lake and pets’ corner.

Lea Grange is well located for those who love to shop, with the centre of St Helens offering well-known retail names including Boots, Topshop and Marks & Spencer, and a number of large supermarkets. The Ravenhead Retail Park, with brands including Argos, Next and Pets At Home, can be reached by car in under ten minutes.

St Helens Theatre Royal brings a host of music and entertainment to the town, including shows aimed at adults and children, and a much-loved annual pantomime. Sports lovers can enjoy rugby league at the highest level, with St Helens RFC – better known as Saints – playing in the Super League. For those feeling energetic themselves, Sutton Leisure Centre is just a mile way, or the Queens Park Health and Fitness Centre is a 15-minute drive.

Further afield, Lea Grange residents also have nearby towns and cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington on their doorstep. With the M62 and national rail network so close by, it’s easy to enjoy the very best big city shopping, cultural and sporting amenities within a short drive or train ride from home.
